Borun Li urodził się w 1994 r. w Luoyang w Chinach. Naukę gry na fortepianie rozpoczął w wieku 4 lat. Podstawowe wykształcenie muzyczne otrzymał w Wuhan Conservatory of Music, następnie wyjechał do Polski i uczył się w klasie Alicji Kledzik w Akademii Muzycznej im. I. J. Paderewskiego w Poznaniu. Od 2013 roku studiował w klasie Gerrita Zitterbarta w Hochschule für Musik und Theatre Hannover, gdzie ukończył studia licencjackie i magisterskie. Obecnie uczy się u Arie Vardiego. Podczas studiów zetknął się z takimi pianistami, jak: Andrea Bonatta, Matti Reakallio, Pavel Gililov, Bernd Goetzke, Klaus Bäßler i in. W 2011 roku zdobył VI nagrodę na IX Międzynarodowym Konkursie Młodych Pianistów „Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam” w Bydgoszczy oraz III nagrodę w Konkursie Pianistycznym w Zabrzu. W 2019 roku otrzymał stypendium „Dr. Gerda Rohde Prize for the Promotion of Young Talents Musical” dla wybitnych absolwentów uczelni w 2019 roku. Koncertował w wielu miastach w Chinach, między innymi w Pekinie, Wuhanie, Luoyang, a także w Niemczech: w Hanowerze, Getyndze, Lipsku, Bielefeldzie, Verden.

Borun Li, born in 1994 in Luoyang, China. He started piano lessons at the age of 4. He completed his elementary and junior high school at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, then went to Poland and studied with Professor Alicja Kledzik at the Genius High School of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan. Since 2013, He has been enrolled in Prof. Gerrit Zitterbart’s class at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover and has completed Bachelor and Master studies and now is studying with Prof. Arie Vardi at Solo Class. During the Study, he received important artistic impulses from pianists such as Andrea Bonatta, Matti Reakallio, Pavel Gililov, Bernd Goetzke, Klaus Bäßler etc. In 2011 he won 6th prize in 9th Arthur Rubinstein In Memoriam International Competition for Young Pianists in Bydgoszcz Poland and Third Prize in Zabrze Piano competition Poland and in 2019 received the scholarship from the “Dr. Gerda Rohde Prize for the Promotion of Young Musical Talents” for Outstanding University Graduates in 2019. He has performed concerts in many cities in China such as Beijing, Wuhan, Luoyang etc. also in Germany such as Hannover, Göttingen, Leipzig, Bielefeld, Verden etc.
