Student III roku Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu w klasie P. Zawadzkiego oraz T. Maruta. Przez 10 lat uczył się pod kierunkiem Marii Wosiek w Szkole Muzycznej I st. w Wieliczce, a następnie w Szkole Muzycznej II st. im. B. Rutkowskiego w Krakowie. Został laureatem wielu konkursów w kraju i za granicą. W 2022 roku zdobył m.in. IV miejsce na 51. Ogólnopolskim Konkursie im. F. Chopina w Warszawie, II miejsce i nagrodę specjalną za utwór kompozytora polskiego na II Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym „Chopin Plus” oraz I miejsce na VI Międzynarodowym Pianistycznym Konkursie Chopinowskim w Turznie. Jest stypendystą Programu Stypendialnego Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego „Młoda Polska” w 2015 r., Krajowego Funduszu na rzecz Dzieci, Fundacji Teresy Sahakian przy Zamku Królewskim w Warszawie oraz Klubu Krakowskiego przy AGH.

Piotr Lara is a student of the 3rd year of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the class of Paweł Zawadzki and Tomasz Marut. For 10 years he studied under Maria Wosiek at the Music School in Wieliczka, and then at the Bronisław Rutkowski Music School in Krakow. He has won many competitions in Poland and abroad. In 2022, he won, among others, the 4th place at the 51st National Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, 2nd prize and special prize for a work by the polish composer at the 2nd International Piano Competition “Chopin Plus” and 1st prize at the 6th International Chopin Piano Competition in Turzno. He is a recipient of the Scholarship Programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage “Młoda Polska” in 2015, the National Children’s Fund, the Teresa Sahakian Foundation at the Royal Castle in Warsaw and the Krakow Club at AGH.
